“The story is done in Finland and it is against racism and fast fashion. This fashion story is about mixing cultures as we mix in the world. It is against racism and showing black male model in elaborated colors. Rather than hiding the cultural elements, they are celebrated in this story.
All clothing are handmade and collected either straight from the designers (Khanijo) or small boutiques who has direct contact to the makers. All the props used in this story are from a local store “Girl and Goat”, whose owner used to live and work in various countries in Africa, and is now for example employing people to weave baskets.”
