Custommade Autumn/Winter 2020 Copenhagen Fashion Week

Custommade’s founder Christian Dam and head of design Anne Rasmussen were definitely channeling Blair Waldorf for its Autumn / Winter 2020 collection shown recently at Copenhagen Fashion Week. The flirty at arm’s length details and vibrant BE SEEN spectrum of colour and textures were all the glam but with so much party infused in them it’s a wonder that the audience stayed seated.

Established by Christian Dam in 2002 the Denmark based label found its feet with very limited collections where fabric remains from different Italian fashion houses were used to create every numbered style. As an established fashion brand Custommade has grown to be  offer not only a ready-to-wear collection but also a shoe collection to complete the look.

Custommade’s vision embodies their desire to bring a poetic and dreamy look and feel to the wardrobe of strong women who dress for themselves in chic styles that are flattering and radiate confidence. Their self addressed Magnifique Chic essentials are a siren call to cosmopolitan women around the globe.  The philosophy of the design is self–confident femininity with utter respect for each piece. Every design has in mind their own Blair, the Queen Bee of her own trendy universe where she dictates what’s what and who’s who… and of course, what they should wear. Obvs.

Custommade has a brand identity that doesn’t scream of anything, in fact it simply states in a refined voice that it will meet you at the playground at lunch hour and it’s your turn to bring treats.
