When did you first realize you wanted to become a fashion designer?

All I remember is I always love fashion. To become an actual fashion designer is a dream. I started to learn more about it deeply since I was in high school. I tried pattern making and improved my drawing since then. I also realize that it’s not easy, but my all-time goal is to keep improving all the time without excuses.

When did you land your first internship and what was the most valuable thing you learned from this experience?

I went to work at an embroidery factory since I was in high school. The most valuable thing is experience. I feel like we all needs experience in our lives. We all have to go out somewhere and work on pieces of stuff to gain more knowledge, and it is one of the most important things for me.

What was your first job out of college, and how did you land that position?

I still work in an embroidery company (the one since I work in high school) I did a great job there, and the team at that company helped me a lot about my interests in being a fashion designer. I continued working there and quit when I start my first collection for my clothing line. But I still appreciate everything about working there.

Define sustainable concept nowadays in fashion industry in five words .

I would say development, practical, environmental, construction, and integrated.

If you could go back and tell yourself one thing before beginning your career what would it be?

Please be careful in every step you do and just trust yourself.

What was the biggest rookie mistake you made when just starting out?

Everything seems hard when I was starting. I did it all alone and decided everything by myself… I feel like being confident is challenging for me. I made mistakes on many pieces of stuff, but the biggest one might be about deciding to hire someone just because he/she is my friend. That appeared later that it is a huge mistake.

What is one thing you look at the models for your campaigns?

Basically, I look for the models who fit the style of each collection. Other than that, there’s the most important part for me to choose a model; it is when I found the one who feels connected to those pieces. Models who can combine their personalities and characteristics to the fashion pieces is something magical for me. And that’s the beginning of a beautiful editorial.

It seems like those fantastic work is a big part of my life. Talking about NON-favorite part, I think that I have a few kinds of stuff for that. I hate competing or when I need to compete with someone. The fashion industry is a big competition! However, I figured out that the only person I need to compete with is myself. All I have to do is being the best version of me.

How do you want people to feel when wearing your clothes?

I want them to feel confident in my significant thoughts. But I also want people to embrace the imperfections. I choose the fabrics which might leave some wrinkles because it’s organic and natural. Sometimes people are crazy to be a perfectionist, and it might be the struggle in their daily life when something small makes people feeling down. My designs are fits in everyday fashion; it can be casual and dressy. During the day, the clothes might be wrinkly due to some activities, but I want them to feel like it’s normal and it’s unique and natural.

Can you tell us how your brand makes a difference in fashion industry?

Being a newbie in this industry makes me understand people. I try my hard to understand them and communicate with every customer. Indeed, my designs are all from my ideas, but it’s fun when my brand is finding someone who loves them as much as I do. I feel like my brand accepts imperfections. I believe that everything won’t be perfect there might be some wrinkles or stain while you’re wearing the clothes, but that’s normal so I tried to make those pieces looks natural and our editorials always show the imperfections beautifully.
