Whether we’re talking the F/W ’19 Fashion Week presentation or the collection itself, Rebecca Minkoff hit the ball in the park when reaching the modern working woman. From dresses to a vast assembly of separates, the designer made sure to give sophistication the flirt it never called for–in a bright, innovative way. This presentation didn’t fail to bring this upcoming seasons’ a breath of fresh air. The event kept it relatable, entertaining and showcasing Fashion Week guests with scenes of the at-home duties, work agendas, and post-work fun that most women know all too well.

The industry in its ways of prehistoric seasonal color palettes has introduced a whole new meaning to how we tackle Autumn and Winter fashion. Minkoff’s presentation was upbeat–both in tunes, energy, and textile choices. The upcoming season’s sandy neutrals were met with blue hues, loud fuchsias, and buzzing reds. Although for the working woman, the collection proved a sunnier day of the concept:

“…where the traditional work uniform meets a free-spirited sensibility.” – Rebecca Minkoff

As fashion gathers its glimpse from the past with dramatic silhouettes, shoulders, and color pairing, Minkoff takes these trends to everyday wear. The modern working woman no longer has to feel the incredible guilt of wanting to look chic, but appropriate enough for a long day at work. The best part of this contemporary collection is that it is size-inclusive, reaching that modern woman across an array of sizes.
