Sustainable Wedding Tips for the Good Brides.

Getting married is always an adventure, I have always been on the other side of it, making custom made wedding outfits for brides, but somehow for my own wedding things went the other way, and I found it really difficult to find elements to have a SUSTAINABLE and SLOW wedding! I decided to take a plunge into researching on how to have a sustainable wedding. There are so many things to take into consideration from non-toxic makeup and hair products to sustainable clothing! I blog about a lot of ethical brands and a couple of these just stood out for and are perfect for those sourcing for an ethical wedding for the bride, brides maid or even a wedding guest.

Svala from L.A. sent me two products my pick being the one was the Tashi crossbody, a luxury vegan handbag! Not only is it handcrafted in Italian vegan leather embossed faux snake-skin, it is also lined with black recycled polyester made with plastic bottles combined with organic cotton .I loved the size as well as it was large enough for my wallet to fit in but compact enough to use for a night out or wedding! The other thing I really liked about it was its likeness to leather and its sturdiness! Svala also sent me an after wedding night treat –their romantic lace sheer viven lace lingerie set made from recycled lace, no wires or push-ups just cozy lace! Very very sexy and more importantly extremely comfortable! Their pieces are available on https://svala.co/

I got the most gorgeous gold plated heart necklace from SeeMe called the Amira, perfect for the bride or bridesmaid this delicate is made in recycled silver 800, plated in 24K yellow gold and made by women based in Tunisia who are survivors off violence. They are taught the ancient art of jewellery and are compensated with a monthly salary to take care of themselves and their children. SeeMe is a fair trade verified brand that produces sleek heart shaped jewelry and accessories and provides ethical sourcing for other fashion brands. By wearing the heart, SeeMe clients join the #heartmovement, a worldwide movement that aims at replacing violence with love. I can also admit its been difficult for me to take the necklace off as it seems to go with almost everything ! You can check out all their jewelry on https://seeme.org/

Going down to the feet and stopping there because the brand Mink has completely outdone themselves by has sent me the sexiest pair of red stilettoes, these would definitely be a showstopper at any wedding party, made from luxury red patent faux leather with a breathable faux leather lining these shoes are 100% vegan and hand made in Italy. I am not a fan of stilettoes as I usually look like I am wobbling as soon as I put them on however I took these out for a trial on a day by feet were really tired and the inner lining was almost like padding for my soles. It totally made up for the height of the heels and surprisingly but very happily I was comfortable all night through! See all their designs on http://www.minkshoes.com/
