Makeup Fit For a Royal Wedding

Late last week, the British Royal Family and the world welcomed a new princess or as her title indicates, the Duchess of Sussex (aka Meghan Markle). Despite controversy leading up to the Royal Wedding, it took place on a beautiful, sunny spring day in London. The skies were clear, and the streets filled with onlookers hoping to catch a glimpse of the bride and groom. Meghan’s look was elegant, classic and downright stunning. From her dress to her hair and makeup, it is a look to be remembered for years to come.

The makeup and hair look was executed by her team of artists, which included makeup artist Daniel Martin. Mr. Martin knocked this makeup look out of the park. Meghan’s subtle, natural glow was perfection, which allowed her freckles to shine through. It was simple, yet classic and fresh and people around the world were swooning over it. The pale pink lip was soft and pretty, and this is a makeup look that women will surely be requesting in the future. Also, her signature loose waves and messy bun were traded in for a soft, sleek bun capped off with a Queen Mary tiara and cathedral length veil.

The look was worth waking up at 6:00 am. It was simply radiant and what we would expect from a princess. Her look also had some similarities to another royal, Kate Middleton. Both looks were in line with Royal Tradition of being subtle and understated and both were gorgeous.

In the last few days, I have seen pictures of the dress, makeup, and hair. Each one different, but still show us what natural beauty is. Simple, effortless and stunning. I can’t wait for the next Royal Wedding.
