My first thought was :”Not sure what is funnier: the fact that someone thought about selling “Designer Ice cream” or the fact that this is actually something that sells?” But then I checked out their website and realized that from a marketing point, their advertisement`s sense of humor was actually pretty brilliant.
There is just the right amount of wittiness here and although it`s still pretty straight-forward and clear to their message, this funny advertisement might also offend some soldiers.
If you don`t get why this could be funny, it`s because you`ve never lived in Italy…or haven`t lived there long enough. This Italian advertisement reveals more than just the fact that everything is “brushed under the carpet” nowadays in Italy, but also the reality of things: trying to appear a certain way, when that`s not the case. The funny part is that AN ITALIAN thought to point this out!
Making some heels look like a booty for the sake of sales? Great marketing and amusingly clever advertisement! Or….is my mind just that perverted? You see this too? Hell, now I`m wondering. LOL.
I say that`s not very clever to burn the museum down because of a flash-light, especially in this jobless economy. Everything else about this ad is pretty clever and with the right amount of fun. A little exaggerated, but that works for their demographic, which is of people that get why MagLite is really better than others.
Who thought about this ad? Like seriously? How did that happen? The creative team got in a room and said :”Let`s make fun of sumo people and eliminate them from being our customers?”
“Your walls deserve a paint WICH will age well.” “WICH”? Now, THATs funny! Also, I do think everything else is cleverly funny too, but I can also see how many people might not agree to this sense of humor.
ESPN – TV SPORTS CHANNEL
That television channel is SO GOOD that both him and his dog became a couch? Funny, except that you`re excluding the women.
Not funny….. but it`s funny that some people think this IS funny!
Ok, this IS funny…because in my head, I already see the guy on the left nearly crapping his pants. This is clever because the older man on the right represents the Cobra Alarm company, getting personable with the audience, while catching the “bad guy” in a funny and ironic way. A smart advertisement for a car alarm system, would you agree?
While trying to be all romantic and stuff, the Utopolis movie theater is keepin it real. Honestly, this Titanic scene always cracked me up. So, too (unnecessarily) mushy. A movie theater might bring you into a romantic dimension and mood, but once you`ll get out, “the reality sucks”. In other words, this is a clever advertisement, IF you get it. Don`t leave this theater, if you don`t wanna get your nose jacked up by a photo-shopped bird.
