CFDA, Sustainability at Fred Segal

Sustainability in the fashion industry at one time was limited to independent, smaller designers and brands. Now, as the industry starts to take notice that luxury and sustainable fashion can co-exist, the industry as a whole is taking notice and changing their practices.

The CFDA, The Council of Fashion Designers of America, Inc., the separate not-for-profit organization, that was created to raise funds for charity and industry activities has formed a shop at the Fred Segal flagship on Sunset Boulevard. To celebrate Planet Earth, The CFDA is taking you on a journey of sustainably-made fashion. From ethical Sourcing and socially conscious materials to non-toxic dyes made from foraged found plants, nine CFDA sustainability shop brands have one common goal: Protecting Mother Earth.
