Simple Beauty Hacks That Will Make You Look Amazing

Putting makeup on our faces does not only emphasize the natural beauty but makes us feel good about ourselves as well. Everybody loves a bit of mascara or a lip gloss so here are some simple beauty hacks that will ensure you look amazing and take up just a little of your time.

Beautiful Lips

Moisturize your lips with tea bags

If you love drinking green tea than this hack is just perfect for you! Press a warm wet green tea bag against your lips for a few minutes to help heal chapped lips. Doing so will help soothe the unpleasant feeling of unhealthy lips and moisturize them.

Use a natural lip scrub

Exfoliate your lips with a homemade sugar and honey scrub to ensure they look juicy and kissable. The cold wind in these cold months is the worst since it affects our skin and our lips and it is important to pay extra attention to your skin during winter time. So, whenever you exfoliate your face, apply the lip scrub as well and your lips will look fabulous after only a couple of treatments.

Massage your lips for a fuller look

Also, you can take a soft toothbrush and organic coconut oil and softly massage them for about a minute. You can apply any cosmetic oil, peach, almond or even neutral Vaseline. That way your lips will appear fuller and sexier.

Pro tip: if you want your lips to appear fuller when you are wearing a lipstick, highlight the middle of your lips with white eyeshadow or pencil over the lipstick and gently dab it over to blend. Apply your favorite lip gloss on top and you will get the effect of full lips.

Gorgeous Eyelashes

Curly and luscious looking lashes

Curl your lashes with ease using a blow dryer and a curler. Blow dry your curler for a few seconds, wait until it cools down a bit, and curl your lashes. That way they will stay curly and luscious and you won’t need any more eye makeup.

Thicken your eyelashes

If you want to make your eyelashes look thicker, rely on this simple life-changing hack. Apply a thin coat of mascara on your lashes, dip a Q-tip in baby powder and swipe it over your eyelashes. After you’ve done, apply one more coat of mascara (or as much as you want since there is no such thing as too much mascara) and voila! The result is super long and extra thick lashes that will put an accent on your eyes.

Also, you can opt for individual eyelash extensions that will make your eyes look perfect and your eyelashes on fleek! That way you won’t have to worry about applying mascara or taking it off later on. All you have to do is to go on quality lash infill treatments every once in a while (after 4 or 6 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle) and you can forget about applying mascara.

Pro tip: use your mascara if you’re out of eyeliner. Just grab an eyeliner brush, brush it over the mascara brush and apply it to your eye, following the shape. With this hack, there is no need to panic when you run out of eyeliner!

Stick with your beauty routine

Make sure to follow your beauty routines because that is the best way to ensure a clean and healthy skin. Don’t forget to take off your makeup and clean your skin after. When washing your face in the morning, do it gently and try not to rub it. Apply your usual (preferably organic) cosmetic products for cleaning and moisturizing the skin as a preparation for the foundation. Make sure to clean your skin at least twice a day.

Choose exactly what your skin needs

Opt for thicker, richer face creams for the winter time and massage them on the skin to help reinvigorate tired winter skin. And obviously, in the summer make sure to use as little cosmetic products as you can, choose hydrating crèmes that will let your skin breathe. After being exposed to the sun for a longer period of time or after sunbathing, make sure not to exfoliate your skin directly after and choose products that will help soothe your skin.

Include these simple hacks into your morning and evening beauty routine and you will be astounded by the results. The best thing about them is that they are quick and easy and won’t affect your schedule.
