ANASTACIA LAUNCHES DIAMOND BRACELET IN SUPPORT OF CANCER RESEARCH UK
We are excited to announce the launch of singer Anastacia’s exclusive limited-edition bracelet designed in partnership with Arctic Circle Diamonds. Available from 26th October 2017, proceeds from the bracelet will go to Cancer Research UK to fund life-saving research specifically into breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, with around 55,200 new cases diagnosed in 2014.
But thanks to research, almost 8 in 10 women with breast cancer survive their cancer for ten years or more. Speaking about her commitment to the cause, Anastacia said: “After beating breast cancer twice, I’m really passionate about trying to do something to help change the odds for others who are affected by this terrible disease. If we all dig deep and donate we can raise vital funds to help improve survival rates.” Caro Evans, director of partnerships at Cancer Research UK, said: “We’re so grateful for all of Anastacia’s support to help raise awareness and money to beat cancer sooner.
Cancer Research UK relies entirely on amazing supporters like Anastacia and the money raised will fund research into breast cancer to help women facing the same diagnosis she had.” To date, Anastacia has sold over 30 million records worldwide. This year she completed her worldwide ‘Ultimate Collection’ tour, which saw the iconic voice behind hits such as “I’m Outta Love” and “Left Outside Alone” play a total of 100 shows. Last month, the pop superstar released ‘Evolution’, her sixth album to reach the UK Top 10. Anastacia worked with Arctic Circle Diamonds to design the stunning bracelet, which is limited to a production of 100 pieces.
Created using diamonds mined to the highest environmental standards in the world, each and every piece is created in the most sustainable and responsible way possible. Gary Wroe, Managing Director at Arctic Circle Diamonds, commented: “We are delighted to collaborate with Positive Luxury and Anastacia to raise money for such a worthwhile cause. The ethos of Arctic Circle Diamonds promotes positive living through our jewelry. Our diamonds are 100% traceable back to the mine and we only use Fairtrade Gold and Silver.
Combining this with ensuring that 100% of the profits from this limited-edition bangle goes directly to Cancer Research UK makes this collection extra special.” The limited-edition bracelet will be available to purchase from Positive Luxury for £299 from 26th October.
