Rescued and adoptable dogs, cat, and pigs take to the Homeless to Haute catwalk at cruelty free fashion show and gala benefitting homeless pets

October 24, 2017, Los Angeles – All About the Animals, a grassroots non-profit dedicated to saving and enriching the lives of homeless pets within Southern California and beyond, hosted its second annual Homeless to Haute gala and fashion show on Sunday, October 15, 2017.
Sunglass Cat, the fully styled feline rescue ambassador with a large Instagram following, and two pigs, were among the pets strutting their stuff at the event which took place at the spectacular Los Verdes Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes.
The Pupscouts troupe of professional rescue doggy models also appeared in the show, fresh off the heels of making their debut on Nick Cannon’s latest music video. Winner of the All About the Animals “Dogscar” award for Rescue of the Year, Doggy Smiles Rescue, supplied doggy models, and these adoptable pups sought to impress on the catwalk with hopes of finding their forever home!
The adoptable and rescued pups donned designer, cruelty free attire by Lola and Pooch, Paradise Ranch Designs, and Toby and Pucci Couture.
Angel Oliferuk, a Top Model TV Show finalist, and 13-year-old actress Emmy Perry, who starred in this summer’s theatrical release, Scales: Mermaids Are Real, were among the human models that took to the catwalk to showcase the adoptable and rescued pets, and Vegan fashions. The two-legged models were dressed in people matching pets’ outfits, and also glamorous dresses by Noell, dapper suits by Friar Tux, and Vegan shoe wear by Tootsies.
Attendees of the memory-making event also enjoyed a three-course Vegan dinner and a silent auction, following the fashion show. Proceeds from Homeless to Haute benefit abused, neglected and homeless pets.
