Yaby Cosmetics

Started by the Toronto based makeup Liz Yu as a means to reduce her working kit, yaby grew out of frustration and necessity, wanting something more portable for her working kit.  Based around the concept of easily stacked, refillable and customization, the brand was researched and developed from the ground up to be a creative artists dream and an eco-friendly option.  Working from her studio, Liz has brought one of a unique brand to the world market that has grown and developed.

The yaby range includes:

  • Foundations in cream and powder palettes.
  • Highlight and contour kit.
  • Lip Palette.
  • Eyeshadows and brows.
  • Liquid foundation. (TSA sized bottles).
  • Powder Blush.
  • The freestyle magnetic palette (a must-have item).

Each of the palettes comes in a cool white solid plastic form and can be bought empty to customize, making it ideal for pros and enthusiasts alike.

This range of magnetic palettes (grippies can be bought separately), initially a DIY project the whole concept was about the professional artist and making your life easier.  With its easy to use and of course convenient for travel magnetic palettes, not forgetting the tiny, pigment-packed shadows and blushes, these easily replaced pans are a dream to work with and never let the size fool you because these little pots pack in enough pigment that single sweep is enough to work with.

Everything in the range is cruelty-free and vegan with a strong and healthy respect for recycling, making it ethical and environmentally sound in the long term.

As familiar on the TV and film circuit as it is in the fashion realms, yaby is an artist dream for customization and ease of use.  There is just something unique about this range that makes it stand out in the make up the world for professionals.
