Urban streetwear never looked so savage. The HBO hit series Game of Thrones announced their “Rep the Realm” limited edition collection featuring seven micro-collections to honor the seven seasons of the show.
“In celebration of the seventh season, we are proud to partner with seven unique designers who are creating collectible pieces of clothing and accessories that build upon the creativity and ingenuity of this iconic series to take the themes off-screen and into streetwear,” Lucinda Martinez, SVP of Marketing, HBO said.
Each “Rep the Realm” designer will release their collection through the season. Every installment will include a behind-the-scenes look at the design process. But scoring any of the “Rep the Realm” merchandise is a battle within itself. Fans will have the opportunity to enter giveaways from the featured designer and HBO on social media each week to win the products after the collections have been announced.
Los Angeles-based designer Anwar Carrots kicks off the collection with his dynamic streetwear approach. His wife, Stella Blu, drew a minimalist sketch of Daenerys Targaryen (played by Emilia Clarke) that showcases the subtlety that the brand is known for. The print is available on a tote bag or t-shirt, with gym shorts to match. The Carrots designer profile was released along with the micro-collection.
Other designers include Billionaire Boy’s Club– a personal favorite of Pharrell Williams, Italian leather footwear line Koio, Nike partnered sneakers and streetwear ALIFE, accessories expert and Marc Jacobs collaborator Dee & Ricky, Los Angeles line 40s & Shorties, and skater chic V/SUAL.
