Model and reality star Kendall Jenner is adding two more campaigns to her supermodel roster with recent additions of La Perla and adidas partnerships.
The La Perla deal is no surprise after Jenner rocked their slinky gown at the Met Ball last month. The casting choice extends to the La Perla pre-fall 2017 campaign, ranging from ready-to-wear to lingerie to beachwear.
The shoot was inspired by artists Georgia O’Keefe and Peter Max, with 21 year-old Jenner being portrayed as Dorothy entering the bright Land of Oz. “Jenner exudes the certainty and self-assurance of a true heroine– owning her world through confidence and empowered femininity,” creative director Julia Haart said of the campaign.
The collection was shot by photographers Mert & Marcus with an “explosive visual message intended to shock and transport the viewer to a world of fantasy, color, and art.”
Yet Jenner’s influence doesn’t stop there: adidas Originals has also courted her to be the brand’s new Ambassador. The partnership is unsurprising as brother-in-law Kanye West’s adidas line has been one of the most lucrative non-athlete partnerships for the brand. Jenner also joins Selena Gomez and Pharrell Williams as adidas Originals ambassadors.
Jenner posted an Instagram video of herself donning a black adidas tracksuit with the caption “officially joining the Adidas fam!”. Adidas also is excited about the partnership, with their press release stating that “Kendall embodies the spirit of adidas Originals as a creative force shaping the world today by challenging the status quo in her very own way.”
Get ready to see the Kendall Jenner even more so in the coming months.
