The British Fashion Council’s main goal is to help the industry thrive and spread art awareness, which is why they also offer the “Graduate Trainee Programme”. This program teaches graduates fashion industry insights, and also helps designers thrive by giving them more hands by placing graduates to work for a British designer for 12 months. This is a paid experience shows how dedicated the British Fashion Council is to pushing the fashion industry to its full potential. More than 1.5million Euros have been donated by the Fashion Trust to date, helping 33 designers with “critical business support such as developing websites, ecommerce platforms, and brick & mortar stores”.
The British Fashion Council Fashion Trust plays a huge role in the advancement of fashion and success of young designers, and could not accomplish all that they have without Founder Patron, Megha Mittal and their partners and members’ hard work.
