Nicole Richie’s House of Harlow 1960 x Revolve Collection Adds Faux Fur

As part of Nicole Richie’s collaboration with the online shopping website,, the fashion designer launched her new ready-to-wear collection from her line, House of Harlow 1960. Richie’s first collection  for the e-commerce giant was her summer collection which debuted on June 2nd 2016.

The collection, which features items for the “free-spirited” shopper  emulates the laidback, bohemian style Richie is known for. A new part of the collection drops every month throughout the year and we’re excited the fall collection which features faux fur.

Richie is just among many hot designers that are incorporating faux fur into their collections and transitioning away from the use of real fur. The fall/winter 2016 collection features a shag coat that is made of 100% polyester and others that are made of 100% modacrylic. This does go to prove that there is no use for real fur in the fashion industry due to the fact that with the new technology today, faux fur has been changed drastically to resemble the luxurious look and feel of the real thing.
