Everything about this Spring/Summer 2016 collection oozed glamour as it debuted during New York Fashion Week yesterday. The designer drew inspiration from gardens in the South of France, bougainvillea and white-washed walls of the Mediterranean and crystal blue waters of Capri, evoking the feeling of iconic muses from the 50s and 60s, siting Sophia Loren or Grace Kelly as inspiration for the latest line.
Breezy, heavily embellished caftans, slit dresses, a fringed cocktail dress and a beaded jumpsuit were other items that really stood out as they made their way down the runway, the attention to detail totally setting the collection apart — everything about it was just gorgeous!
We love the breathtaking taffeta ball gowns, complete with pockets, that closed out the show. Along with the statement-making frocks, there were second-skin, bias-cut satin gowns that exuded an effortlessly sexy vibe as they came down the catwalk.
Kat Graham, Christina Hendricks and Ashley Greene were on hand at the show as they watched from the front row while the designer’s gorgeous dresses came down the runway.
